On Aug 7, we hosted our first Funmatch! Despite rainy Mountain View weather, we stayed mostly dry in the arena and enjoyed some great agility runs and great company. The bleachers were always full, the spectators had cheers for every dog and we gave away lots of prizes.
Photos from the funmatch can be seen in the August Funmatch Photo Album.
See below for some videos as well as the courses and the results.
Timed Gamble
For Timed Gamble, we ran a UKI style course judged by UKI rules. After walking the course, handlers predicted their final score (time plus faults). The winners were those whose actual score was closest to their prediction.

Snooker
We ran a snooker course but added an extra twist. At the start of the walkthrough we drew a random number between 37 and 51. The number drawn was 46 ... Our Super Snooker number was 46. We awarded prizes to the top scoring small and large dogs as well as a special prize to the dog who achieved the Super Snooker score in the shortest amount of time.

60 Weave Pole Challenge
For our final event, we ran a 60 weave pole challenge. The goal was to complete 60 consecutive weave poles. That was 5 sets of 12 competition poles in a line over 100’ long. There were several opportunities to run the weaves through the day and each dog was permitted 3 attempts.
The fastest time was under 17 seconds!
